Beth Upton | Child care provider for 16 years
It is truly a joy to witness what children can become when they are in a positive, nurturing home-away-from-home. Years ago, I had a very challenging wooden puzzle as a part of my daycare materials, and there was only one child who could complete it. He set his mind to it, sat down, and did it with very little problem. Looking back, I don’t think it’s any coincidence that he’s gone on to become an architect. My alumni also include successful college students, and even a Navy Seal!
I want to continue nurturing and preparing the future doctors and lawyers of the world. It would be a lot easier if we could ensure providers are paid on time, and parents who need it have access to affordable daycare for their children.
